Native Short Film “Still” Nominated for The Audience Awards

The short film, Still, produced by Longhouse Media’s Tracy Rector (Seminole) has been nominated to compete in the Audience Awards: Winter Short Film Competition.

Still is a documentary featuring Glen Pinkham (Yakama), a traditional hunter and cultural teacher, as he explores the sovereign right of the Yakama people to hunt.

The film is up against three other short films.  The winner will be announced on February 3rd 2014.
