Mic Jordan Releases New Music Video #DearNativeYouth

MIC JORDAN RELEASES OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE “#DEARNATIVEYOUTH”.

Mic Jordan first came to life in 2013, with the release of his first solo project “Born With It EP”. However, with the later release of his first full length album “Sometime After 83” Mic Jordan’s fan base has grown to new heights.

On Monday, Aug. 31st, The Ojibwe Hip Hop artist, Mic Jordan releases the official music video for his song “#DearNativeYouth” on his YouTube channel. The video was shot in an abandoned house in rural Minnesota and was directed by Totem Ent. You can watch Mic Jordan’s official “#DearNativeYouth” music video here.

The video captures what our youth go through today in feeling alone or trapped in their surroundings. Throughout the song, Mic Jordan addresses what he went through growing up on the Turtle Mountain reservation and explains how things have come to be brighter over time. #DearNativeYouth delivers a personal message to our youth that needs to be heard.

You can find this track along with many others on the “The Last Stand Mixtape” set to be released at the end of August. The mission behind the mixtape is to inspire and empower Native youth through spoken word and hip-hop as well as to promote collaboration between Native artists in mutual genres.
