“Get This Knowledge” Indigenous Hip Hopper G-Field Seeks to Educate the Masses

Continuing in the history of hip hop rhyme makers who used their craft to give awareness to issues and realities impacting their communities, Seattle Native hip hop artist G-field releases his debut video “Get This Knowledge” that addresses issues impacting Native peoples.

G-Field, Walter SilentEagle Olebar (Lummi and Ahousaht), who grew up in Seattle is active in the Native community and seeks to utilize his music to uplift Native peoples through positive messages.  His debut video “Get This Knowledge” addresses the historical inaccuracies of Natives that the educational system perpetuates in its classrooms while giving acknowledgment to Indigenous activists fighting to protect Mother Earth.
