Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Responds to Police Violence

Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Chairman Dave Archambault II released a statement in response to the mass arrests at water protectors camp and police violence on October 27th, 141 people were arrested.

Militarized law enforcement agencies moved in on water protectors with tanks and riot gear today. We continue to pray for peace. We call on the state of North Dakota to oversee the actions of local law enforcement to, first and foremost, ensure everyone’s safety. Continue reading

Dept of Justice Affirms Lake Oahe DAPL permit on-hold while it addresses concerns from the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe
